Black ,

Ok

I have deleted the classes from the Design screen that were bothering me and now they no longer show up in the Shipyard Refit box.

Steve has posted that in the next version (1.9.5), the refit from dropdown will not contain classes that have no existing ships.

I wonder if it is supposed to be visible if you have no active ship of that class, I think I will report it as a bug, lets see if it is WAI. Because sometimes you may want to keep the obsolete design in the Class Design list.

Black,

Thanks  - I have obsoleted the design in the Design Screen window but obviously this does not remove it in the Shipyard list. Will now remove the classes involved.

In the shipyard Screen , when requesting a refit to a current Class from an obsoleted design , I have in the "Refit From"  drop-down box  , a list of all the vessel variations that I designed and then subsequently improved and obsoleted. This list shows classes of vessels that are not in service as well as those obsolete but still in use.

My question is  - can the obsolete designs which do not have any vessels in service , be removed some way from this list so that the drop-down number of descriptions does not become unwieldy. I cannot find a way at present to cull the list.

You can simply delete the design from Class Design window. There is Delete Class button on the right side on the bottom part of the window. The game will warn you if you try to delete design with active ships.
