--- The so called
Fortune Class is a class of Frigates designed to be my fleet's in-system mule, taking care of tasks that wouldn't be economical for real warships to handle. It provides security, PPV and a tractor beam capable of moving twenty thousand tons worth of powerless ship along at just under 2,000 km/s. The armament isn't great, but synergizes well. A spartan sensor suite is biased towards passive surveillance, while a small boat bay allows the carriage of a scout to alleviate this shortcoming. The vessel's only active sensor is weighted towards ships of it's own weight class. Meager armor and a lack of redundant systems means that the
Fortune Class relies a lot on luck to survive one on one encounters with real warships.
