Once v2.2 is out and working, I'll create a new full install.

Friendly reminder ;-) I'm in the same situation and comming back to Aurora after a few years break. Thought it would be best to start with a new install. It seems currently the process is full install 1.13.0 -> 2.2.0 -> 2.2.1 -> 2.3.0 -> 2.3.1 -> 2.4.0 -> 2.5.0 -> 2.5.1?
Maybe i missed another thread with a newer full installation. If not that seems quite hassle. Can't imagine it being difficult to update the provided full install to the latest version after a patch.

You have the process wrong here I think - it's 1.13.0 -> 2.5.0 -> 2.5.1

First post of a 15+ year player and long time forum lurker.

Similar situation as OP but I did work out the process for full installation.
Just thought I would suggest that a single pack for full installation be made available, that does not require replacement of files to move from v1. 13. 0 to v2. 1. 0 to v2. 1. 1.
Would be convenient, may help some who aren't comfortable with file replacements, but also would help new players get started quicker.  If it already exists I didn't manage to find it.

Thanks for the many 100s of hours of Aurora I've enjoyed over the years.

No. You get the full install, which is 1.13. Then you get the 2.1.0, which has a new exe and db file, and use them to replace the ones in the 1.13 install. Then you get 2.1.1, which again has a new exe.

Hey, so I'm coming back to try Aurora after a while and I'm not very computer literate so I was hoping for some help w/ regards to arranging patches etc.
I'm assuming I should just use the most 'modern' released patch and replace the relevant part from thee C# Full Install, my question is specifically about patches 2.1.0 and 2.1.1 because while 2.1.1 is just an aurora.exe update, 2.1.0 also includes an auroraDB file to patch over, so I'm wondering if I should also use the 2.1.0 DB patch as well as the 2.1.1 .exe patch, or do I not need the earlier one?

Or do I not need either of these? I'm a bit confused sorry haha.
