Hi Guys,
just doing a small testgame around interactions with the ingame foes. Here is the prep work before going into the unknown.
Starting Parameters:
Begin in 2050, 7.2 Billion People in a United Earth Commonwealth, a Republican Democracy, 50% Wealth Creation, Starting SY: 5, Research Facilities: 32.
Commander Names will be English with 8% Spanish, 17% Arabic, 15% Chinese, 3% French.
3 Military Academies, 1 Deep Space Tracking Station, 12 Ground Forces Training Facilites, 2 Naval SY a 1.000t, 3 Commercial SY a 10.000t and 28.000 Conventional Industries

There are also 4 Listening Posts in the Belt Area with each a strength of 2.400 on Laetitia, Ceres, Daphne and Sirona.
Earth had plenty of resources, but cannot sustain a growing empire. Even the solar system will not keep minerals coming forever. Mostly needed are Corundium and Uridium, where there are no longer any large deposits found in the system. Large amounts of people are shipped from Earth to Luna and Mars, because of the manpower need. Luna is almost equalized by now, with only 2 Million people missing to eqip all installations, while on Mars there are still some 20 million open job positions. Earth ships can't transfer them as fast as they are needed to. Also because installations are still needed to support the population, growth is limited to the speed at which we can ship installations over.

So, as of yet, there is no large military fleet. There are some basic designs ready, but they are planned to be implemented, once aliens are encountered.

01.12.2053 First Sorium Harvester constructed
01.04.2054 First Stowage Transport is launched and begins to transport AMs to Comas Sola. Several minerals on earth will be depleted within the next 20 years. The deposits are quite large, but for future expansion we need to find replenishments;
especially for Tritanium, Mercassium, Vendarite, Uridium, Corundium and Gallicite.
24.10.2054 Mass Driver installed on Comas Sola. Mineral slingshooting to Earth works like a charm. First chunks of Uridium are arriving.

03.12.2064 Commonwealth Space Command decides to construct a fleet to explore the gravitational jump point. Secondly, a fleet of jump gate constructors is to be build to enable civilian ships and commerce going through the jump point if viable
planets can be found on the other side.
28.05.2065 A second gravitational jump point is found in the solar system. 138mkm outside the orbit of Jupiter at 44°.
10.10.2065 Shuttle 'Obsidian' embarks into the solar system
15.10.2065 Terraforming begins on Mars
14.12.2065 Geoshuttle Alvarez und Obsidian return from their 12 year mission to explore the solar system. 97% of all system bodies were surveyed, slightly Transporter begins shifting AM to Comas Solamissing the goal of reaching all in one go. The
shuttles will be overhauled and then equipped with new sensors. Possibly they will be refitted for jump point exploration. But the discussion about this is still ongoing.
30.04.2067 Another jump point is found in the Sol system. It is 420mkm inside the orbit of Uranus at 18°.
20.04.2068 Nucleas Pulse Engine Tech researched - Construction and design of 2nd Generation Spaceship begins…
17.09.2068 Shortly after a refuel stop at earth, Gravsurvey Ship Obsidian suffers a main failure in it's grav sensor array. The ship's crew can prevent the destruction of the ship, but have to use almost all of it's maintenance resources, to do so. The ship
is ordered back to earth for a refit. A terrorist group known as 'Indepencence' claims responsibility. After reviewing the damaged parts, it becomes clear that is was a simple technical malfunction, not a terrorist act.
10.05.2069 Another jump point is found in the Sol system. It is slightly inside of the orbit of Pluto at 247°.
16.01.2071 Another jump point is found in the Sol system. It is 360mkm inside the orbit of Pluto at 106°.
01.04.2071 Another jump point is found in the Sol system. It is 243mkm outside of the orbit of Neptune at 120°.
21.01.2073 SHGV Diamond finishes it’s gravsurvey Tour of the solar system. 6 Jump Points were found. It returns for overhaul and refit. Later this year the Shuttle Jump
Carrier will be finished and uploaded with the newly refitted Geo- and Gravshuttles to explore the jump points. Discussions which jump point to explore first is still ongoing.
05.06.2073 Yorktown exploration Jump Carrier finished construction. Waiting for shuttle refit to embark on its first mission. Due to a miscalculation, this will be earliest at the end of 2075.
01.12.2075 Finally, all shuttles are refitted. The Yorktown embarks to the first Jump Point!
22.12.2075 Star System FL Virginis discovered. It is a binary star with planets only orbiting the second star. 1 Planet, 2 Gas Giants and a bunch of moons. Some minor
Asteroids are floating around. None of the planets seem to be habitable. Hope rises to find Corundium and Uridium.
26.12.2075 Sensor Shuttle finishes it's exam of the planetary bodies. No signs of life detected.
