Title: Minimum size for missile active sensor?
Post by: TheTalkingMeowth on June 15, 2020, 09:35:03 PM
I've noticed that with Grav Strength 10 and EM strength 5, if I try to design a missile with an active sensor smaller than 0. 3 MSP (resolution doesn't seem to matter)  the sensor doesn't show up in the little summary at the bottom.  No reactor is added either.

Obviously, such a small sensor would be rather limited, but all I really want is the ability to dwell on a jump point when those pesky Swarm FACs try to play silly buggers and jump back and forth between two systems rather than dying like men.  Yes, I am trying to fight the swarm with basic sensor tech (and INP engines!).

Is this WAI or should I report a bug? This is v1. 11

On a related note, there are issues with active sensor missiles not retargeting, right? So this wouldn't work anyway.

All sensors on missiles must be at least 0.25 MSP.  http://aurora2.pentarch.org/index.php?topic=8495.msg103096#msg103096

Active retargeting should work, but currently mines do not work properly based on multiple reports.

Active retargeting currently works only if happening under MFC.

Mines do not work.
