During the first two year from the born of the UNSC, a special team of geologist was employed directly to deepen the data collected about the exact quantity of TN-Minerals on Earth. The team discovered a large concentration of Tritanium under Greenland that literaly doubled it's quantity, and a large mass of Boronide (equal to circa 25% of the known quantity) was also discovered in Patagonia.

The following graph show the mineral quantity at 2023
Project Galileo
During the August of 2019, AuraCorp presented the first military ready Trans Newtonian Engine, called "Starpower". The availability of such an engine allowed the UNSC to start the project of a geological survey space vessel. Nearly two years later, the design phase of the "Galileo" Class Geological Survey Vessel was finished, and the assembly phase started at Baikonur Space Center (nearly expanded after 3 years of mainenance plan).
This was a big success for the Consortium. From it's foundation the personnel decreased from 182 to 91 members, due to UN funding cut, and the revitalization of the enitire Space COnsortium with such a big success was vital to keep it alive.
But the Galileo was not the only successful project, on November 20th, 2022, the Research Division announced the successful creation of a cryogenic transport modules, opening a new era for space travel.

Along with the Galileo, a smaller size space vessel was being built, this time at Tanegashima Space Center, the Challenger class shuttle.
With a modest crew of only 32, this vessel was able to scout the entire Solar System in relative little time, thanks to it's high speed (2,777 km/s)

The Challenger, formally UNCC Challenger (registry code UNSV-001) was finished the 20th of April 2024 and was assigned to Lieutenant Bethany Hart, a young officer, due to her innate leadership ability. The ship however remained in Earth orbit for the moment.
On July 2024, the chairman of the Consortium, Stephanie Page, changed the inner structure of the UNSC Administration, creating under her, a little "council" composed by chosen "planetary governor" that managed the operations of a specific planet. This was a foreseen of an intra-system expansion program for the humanity. Page assigned the role of "Earth Governor for the Consortium" to Claud Retz. Retz was a cold man that dedicated his life to career, an obvious choice to support Page's recent psychological problems (anxiety attacks) that mined their leadership in the last months.
Finally, on August 20th 2024, the UNCC Galileo was finished and departed from Earth. It's mission was initially to survey Sol System planets and moons for minerals, and it was commanded by Captain Jonah Bekker, a 33 years old inflexible and dogmatic survey specialist.
A breathtaking news for the Consortium and the human population comes on December of the same year. Captain Bekker, onboard the UNCC Galileo, announced to the head of the Space Operation Office, Vice-Admiral Wilkins, that sensors on the ship estimated that a large amount of TN minerals was detected on Venus. This proved that TN minerals can also be founde outside Earth and the UNSC Chairman Page ordered that at least three more Galileo Class Survey vessel had to be built.
At the same time, the Challenger departed from Earth bringing to Venus a special Geological survey team to examine these mineral deposit and estimate the exact quantity and accessibility. Administrator Rebecca Leonard was nominated planetary governor and had to supervise all the future exploiting operations on Venus.
