Possible suggestion: (lightly) Color scheme them by their general areas, like green for civilian, Blue for military, yellow for diplomacy, etc. this would probably help new players a ton in understanding/remembering the functions of the buttons. Perhaps just a subtle color outline around the perimeter of the box?If I were home I’d give it a shot myself, But I’m away from my computer for a few days. Thanks for the praise! I'm open for changing them in whatever way makes the most sense, but for now I'm trying just to make a unified style. If it's deemed necessary, colors will come after. But I'll definitely keep it in mind!

Brilliant work! For the sector button, I'd say several stars connected with hyperlanes surrounded with a line similar to the fleet view.
Maybe putting some kind of "stamp" upon the "intelligence" paper. "Top Secret" kind of stamp.
