NEW UPDATE 1.6 OUT NOW - 08/09/20

Hi All,

This pack comes with a handy CSV ready for 2.5 (only on new game start). FROM 1.12 ONWARDS IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE MANUAL ASSIGNMENTS FOR COLONIES TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE PACK

You can edit the CSV and if you use your own ribbons just overwrite my ones. Please if you report a bug highlight if you have modified the CSV and do not use any previous CSV file as there are major changes from a CSV to another

What is included:
CSV for all 60 conditions and more
Ribbons for Medal Conditions - self-explanatory
Alternative Ribbons - some alternative for the medal conditions
Mandatory Click Ribbons - As we all know, some jobs need to be manually assigned this gives us the chance to also award a medal after assigned such jobs. Example Planetary Governors. (CSV ready)
Extra - some extra ribbons because...why not? (CSV ready)

How to Install

Off-Topic: show

ALREADY DOWNLOADED AND INSTALLED 1.4 OR PRIOR VERSION
Please note: do not use any previous CSV file as there are major changes from a CSV to another
Unrar/Unzip
Copy the files inside the folder Medals into the medals folder under your Aurora installation path: mine looks like this: D:\Games\Aurora C#\Medals
Overwrite previous ribbons png when asked
Copy the extras from each folder into your Aurora\medals path. Beware the Alt folder is for alternatives so you may choose which one you like prior overwriting the originals.
Start a New Game
Import Medals from 1.6 CSV
Enjoy

Added Sorium Mining Governor as I thought it would add flavour to the admin medals rack - I am considering to Add one for those Admin working for Civilian Companies
Added class I and class II to all Mandatory Click ribbons (see preview2.png) as I thought they should work same as the other medals; just Award them accordingly

Reworked all Ribbons for Administrators - Kept the same format but changed colours between them to add flavour, previously were all same style and the same colour
Reworked all Ribbons for Admin Command - highlighted Main Admin Command
More Alt options - Kept old designs for Civilian Admins and Admin Commands in the Alt folder for those who liked the old designs
Removed Ribbon for Sorium Mining Governor - Due to the elimination of possibility to create a colony on Gas Giants coming up on 1.12
Added Ribbon for Admins working for Civilian Companies - added to replace Sorium Mining Governor Ribbon and keep a decent amount of Civilian Ribbons
Added Ribbon for Rescuing Survivors - Red Cross
Added Ribbon for Rescuing Prisoners - Grey Cross
Added Spy Ribbon for ELINT missions
Added Ribbon Medal of Honor for special recognition in battle during wars
Added War Ribbon A for skirmishes optional not in CSV
Added War Ribbon B for more important battles and the first war optional not in CSV
Added War Ribbon C For recurring Wars with the same faction optional not in CSV
Added Naval Operation class II for taking part in one naval operation in the same war optional not in CSV
Added Naval Operation class I for taking part in multiple naval operations in the same war optional not in CSV
Added Ground Operation class II for taking part in one naval operation in the same war optional not in CSV
Added Ground Operation class I for taking part in multiple naval operations in the same war optional not in CSV
Added Special Operation for any other special operations undertaken in the same war optional not in CSV
Adjusted Promotion Value to display Ribbons in Groups and also reflect the importance of the position
Minor Spelling corrections

You can use the Ribbons right now on 1.9.5 but you'll have to create the medals one by one. In a way, 1.10 will help many others that don't have time/will to create each medal every time.

Steve said 1.10 had new features he needs to test and it would take him a couple of weeks and this was a week ago, but I wouldn't take these words literally. Steve's time concept is different than we humans.

Hi! Thanks for these! Just downloaded this to finally start using medals in my current campaign.  I was expecting multiple folders of medal images, however there was only one with the main set of medals - is this correct? The OP suggests there would be extras and optional medals present as well.

Also, there is a missing comma on line 9 of the CSV: "Having destroyed 10000 tons of Military ShippingWLF class IV"

Hey, thanks for that! Uploaded MP_Ribbons_1.1 on the main download page that includes all images and updated CSV.

Still waiting for Steve to tell the IDs of the missing 8 conditions though :-(

Hey there, your . csv file wasn't correctly importing in the new 1. 10 update, so I took the liberty to fix some of the issues.  I have attached both the corrected . csv file and the renamed medal images folders.

This is awesome! I wanted to get into ribbons, but I was never about to make them myself. That, and I didn't want to use copies of existing American ribbons. Very well done!

Getting a #175 Function error with the "corrected" CSV file - does not like line 1 - New Star System - this seems to read "start" in the CSV file . Is this causing the error?

I didn't get any error so far, are you using the one posted in the first post or the one posted by the user?

When do you get the error?
