ResizeWindows is a simple patch that allows you to resize any window in Aurora.

This patch requires the AuroraPatch runtime.

1) Download the latest release of AuroraPatch from it's GitHub releases page and dump the zip file contents in your Aurora folder: https://github.com/Aurora-Modders/AuroraPatch/releases
2) Download the attachment and extract it in your Aurora\Patches\ folder

Running

Run AuroraPatch.exe from inside the Aurora directory.

Changes

1.0.0.0 - Initial release.

Any chance you would make windows/fonts scaling for lower resolutions?

Would it be possible to allow resizing of certain sections of an open window instead of the whole window?

For example in the naval organization window I would like to be able to resize the tree view on the left by dragging it towards the right since some of my fleet/admin names can be quite long.

Window scaling for lower resolutions should work with this patch.
Font scaling isn't implemented in this patch but font size/style is implemented in the T2DTheme patch.

I had planned on ripping out the font stuff from the T2DTheme patch and putting it in it's own theme but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

I haven't confirmed yet, but I have a feeling that would be a significant amount of work - not sure how to make panels/views independently resizable.

I'll add this request as an issue for investigation in the repository.

It would be a really nice feature to have certain columns wider. Ship components for example. Always have the problem that my component names don't fit in there ;-)

Im after trying this multiple times and I still cannot rezize windows. . . .  I can only maximise or have them as unpinned windows. . .  Followed instructions to install but issue remains.

Hi.  Is there any possibility of implementing a mod for Aurora Patch that allows to control the scale of the UI as for example it could be done in the Aurora Mod? Or better yet, like the option in the Quasar 4x settings, that allows "Shrink to fit small displays"? If this is possible, I would be eternally grateful since it is impossible for me to play the latest version of Aurora with my old notebook in 1366x768.

I may be stupid, but where is the attachment for this mod?

I don't see it either. I did recently see something about Erik (the forum admin) planning to remove old attachments to save server space, so maybe it's been lost?

You can still get the source code from his link and rebuild it, if you feel comfortable doing that, but naturally that's going to be more work.

Edit: Looked for it on the Discord, and saw some commentary that it doesn't work anymore anyway. So perhaps this would be a dead mod even if the attachment were still up? IDK.
