As a result of the PDC changes, I have added some PDCs to the Commonwealth plus some new ship designs which they have started building.
The Dreadnought and Hood class PDC comprise the primary ground defences of the Commonwealth. Three Dreadnoughts are based on Earth where their size 12 missile launchers can launch Vengeance ICBMs at Manchurian or US targets or Ballista Anti-ship missiles at orbiting spacecraft. A secondary battery of smaller fast-fring size 4 launchers can launch almost one hundred missiles a minute. The Hood PDC is used on both Leonidas and Corinth-II where the priority is defending against hostile spacecraft and the slower-firing size 12 launchers are unnecessary.

The Sir Galahad Assault transport is designed to deliver ground troops to a planetary surface while under fire from ground based defences. It has very strong shields and as it will likely be escorted by Agincourt class destroyer escorts during the assault run, it is fast enough to match the Agincourts' top speed.

The Iron Duke Troop Transport is less expensive than the Sir Galahad and has a 67% greater carrrying capacity. However, it is completely unprotected and would not be able to land troops on a world with active anti-ship defences. Its main task will be to move troops around the Commonwealth or to carry a spacegoing reserve that could be loaded on to Sir Galahad Transports after they make their initial assault drops.

As PDCs often require missiles that cannot be produced locally, the role of the Flower class Collier will be to carry munitions between Commonwealth colonies as well as providing an ordnance reserve for a battle fleet as required.
