Great start. Did you start with a conventional start or a trans-newtionian with no techs other than the ones automatically given?

It is a conventional start.  No techs.   Small pop - just 250m actually.

A lot of choices are made more for RP purposes than anything as well - I know how things work in game but it is logical to suspect that the race wouldn't.

I enjoyed the brief write up. A nice imagination and roleplaying. Hopefully you will continue this start, as its an unusual one. Keep it up Corvus!
