Lagrange points.  They allow quick travel across large systems, as you can jump from one LP to another LP within the same system (without needing jump engines).  They only spawn when Super-Jovians spawn (I think)

As long as there are LPs for the civilians to cut travel time, there shouldn't be an issue.

So, I'm starting a new game and I found a good system that has a good planet to start on around the secondary star.   It's one of those distant stars with jump points to the primary.   My question is how do the civilians deal with that.   I seem to remember in the past that they have difficulty using jump points intelligently and I'm worried that the secondary star start would screw that up.
