STO Unit Re-Supply Mechanics Question

Greetings,
My first post
Question on STO unit re-supply. I've created a Gauss Cannon battery for planetary defense. Does that type of STO unit require GSP re-supply using logistics units? If so, do the standard ground unit re-supply rules apply in that it can fire for 10 rounds utilizing its organic supply and then would require some type of re-supply from a higher echelon? Or does GSP re-supply only apply to non-STO units?
Thanks in advance!

AFAIK it says when you make the unit that it does not require supplies.
So STO's don't use supplies and don't really take part in ground combat either, they just kinda get hit.

Ah duh. . . you are correct. The GSP column shows 0. Sorry. . . still learning my way around the game. So I guess the only type of cost is an annual wealth cost.
