Atlas Class Warship
--- The Atlas was designed by the United Earth Space Institute prior to the formation of the United Solar Naval Commission. As such, while she is still classified as a Warship due to a lack of peers in her tonnage, at 6,250 Tons she is still technically a Frigate as defined by the UNSC standards of ship classification. The Atlas is armed with a trio of Atlas SLMSs (Space Launched Missile Systems) and utilizes missile borne Active Sensors to achieve a target lock while retaining maximum stealth. Her SLASMs (Space Launched Anti-Ship Missiles) remain fairly competitive even in the Ion-era of 84 ATN. She has spare berths enough for four scientific teams and her CO. 3 in service as of 84 ATN.

Whippet Class Gunboat
--- The Whippet Class was already obsolete even before the first of her class rolled off the slipways. However, the Whippet is still a capable FAC (Fast Attack Craft) and the most numerous in the USNC's forces, with a whopping thirty Whippets currently in service as of 84 ATN. However, despite this, the Whippet was to be considered retired after the initial run with only the cost-effectiveness and robustness of the design allowing it to see production at all. The Whippet Class is superseded by the Lancet FACs and the Avenger Fightercrafts.

Lancet Class Gunboat
--- The Lancet Class is a significant improvement over the Whippet, exhibiting categorical superiority in all but costs. A fast firing 120mm calibre Railgun-Type Autocannon is backed up by a co-axially mounted 30mm Gauss-Type Autocannon, with both weapons mounted directly to the fore of the vessel. Blending speed, range and firepower the Lancet is built as an interception & interdiction platform, with Point Defense support as an auxiliary role. There are currently twelve Lancets in service with the USNC as of 84 ATN

Avenger Class Fightercraft
--- The Avenger is the USNCs first foray into small craft weapons platforms and represents a sizeable investment with a hundred and twenty of these high-cost units in service as of 84 ATN. A relatively large, high performance Ion Engine boasting considerable thermal reduction is used to propel the craft. The unit is armed with a 100m fast-firing Railgun-Type Autocannon which is supported by a co-axially mounted 25mm Gauss-Type Autocannon. These weapons are sighted by electronically hardened sensors mated to an electronically hardened fire control. To add to this, both the weapons and engines are offset from the cockpit, with the cockpit and engines allowing for free rotation during maneuvers to eliminate inertial forces on the pilot and retain the vehicles center of thrust during hard maneuvers. This complicated hull design is also armored, as the Avenger was designed to take on the great unknowns... and win.
