geo skills do not apply to engineers and that's what automines/ asteroid miners are for.

ah thats a good idea thanks for that.  Do geological skills apply to engineering brigades and is there any possibliity of mining brigades for planets where u dont want to have a small amount of mines but they could have more primative or smaller scale mining but might be useful to drop off a cargo ship in orbit around an asteroid drop off some mining troops have em extract some minerals and haul it back to dock.
