Destroy your own missiles
« on: November 09, 2023, 03:53:35 AM »
I made a missile wile hyper long range and active sensors as I wanted to outrange my enemies, but I quickly discovered that active sensors in salvos of missiles lock your increment at 5 sec. . .  Had a new save in desperation and SM-ed stuff back in.

Missile active sensors don't lock increments at 5 seconds - I use them all the time. You might have a fire control active without a target. Just use the Cease Fire All Ships option to fix it. On the Misc tab of the Tactical Map.

I checked, all ships aren't firing, but I did have a star swarm chilling in the system, and the missile range can go bak and forth and back again across the whole system. . .  I am new at this lol

Besides, self-destruct missiles function would still be great for cleaning buoys and minefields (if required).
