In my current save, I have this region of Sunderland by JP2:Preston where if I lay a new mine it instantly tags a contact that has not existed for almost a year.  It then never fires and never tags a new enemy ship when it appears.  Meaning no mines work in this region of this system.

The before and after are attached to this post.

This is not what I expected, a mine should not tag historical contacts of ships that are no longer even present in the system.

If you download the DB from this link and go immediately to Sunderland System and JP2:Preston, which is the bottom JP, with the sensor buoys and let time pass it will lay a mine and will immediately see it target a contact that isn't present, except in the contacts list to the left when you have 1 year selected.

My janky fix for this was to DB edit this system and remove all the contacts from the system.  I was thinking of moving the JP, but I didn't need to in the end.
