The "Industrial" naval admin command leverages the commander's Production, Mining, and Terraforming skills. It is a bit of a weird labeling choice as it is the only command bonus that applies multiple commander skills, but that is what it does.

Looks like this is not documented which suggests that Steve made this change sometime after he introduced the admin commands mechanic into the C# version.

The production bonus does apply to Salvage and Jump stabilization ships, so they should be in a Production admin.

Yeah... but... there isn't a specific "Production" type for Naval admin commands, and there doesn't seem to be documentation to say if it is included or not in any of the admin command types that do exist.

Terraforming ships = commander uses terraforming bonus = admin command should be of IND type
Mining/fuel harvesting = commander uses mining bonus = admin command should be of IND type

Salvage/stabilisation ships = commander uses production bonus = admin command should be of ??? type ?

The production bonus does apply to Salvage and Jump stabilization ships, so they should be in a Production admin.

FYI An easy way to check is to just try it. If you put a Jump stab ship in a production admin and assign an admin commander with a production bonus, and then assign it to stabilize a JP, you'll notice that the time required for the task (shown on the map next to the ship's name if you have display orders turned on) will be less than if you assign an admin commander without a production bonus.

Hi there.
Struggling with organising Naval Admin commands to my liking, there seems to be a bit of a gap in the wiki as to what exact bonuses are applied for admin commands.
The two particular ones I am confused on, are the LOG and IND commands.

Quote from: Aurora wiki
Logistics: Provides 25% of the Admin Command commander bonus for Logistics (cargo load/unload speed) and 10% of the bonus for Mining (including Harvesting) and Terraforming.
Industrial: Provides 25% of the Admin Command commander bonus for Mining and Terraforming, plus 10% of the bonus for Logistics.

Now, for LOG, then its seems clear that Cargo ships, colonial transports, and troop transports should be in a LOG command, so they load/unload quicker.
And for IND, then mining and terraforming ships should be in an IND command.

The thing I am struggling with, is... the Naval commander "Production" bonus, which is applied to Salvage ships, and Jump construction/stabilisation ships.

I am unsure which admin command they should be under, as "Production" does not seem to be specifically mentioned, in the wiki, or in any easily found forum posts.
