Just a quick question if you dont mind, is the Deutschlands tracking system deliberately outpacing the lasers tracking speed (8k vs. 2k) or have you just missed the speed difference?

August 7th the Empire of Japan believes it is time for it to venture into space having acquired a significant amount of tech over the past few years. They design their first classes of ships, and lay them down in their significantly expanded shipyards. The Empire of Japan lays down a total of 15 ships, 7 of which are combat vessels.
September 6th The Empire of Japan finishes its 4th PDC, and the missiles to stock it. They finish developing a cargo handling system. The FSNA has managed to hack into the computer network of the Empire of Japan and steal designs of a better missile launcher. Earth is also reaching critical levels on Mercassium prompting the Empire of Japan and the Ottoman Empire to set up a joint effort to set up mining colonies on asteroids and moons in the outer system. The FSNA responds by dropping approximately 80 automines on venus over the next month.
September 9th Transit! The crew of the Brandenberg arrives in a system designated as Barnards Star A, it is a singular star system, with an incredibly interesting planet. Barnards Star A-2 is an Ideal Habitable World. Scans show that it has a present biosphere and water as well! The crew of the Brandenberg quickly transit back to Sol and deliver the news to Fatih Aras, who sits there speechless for a few minutes, before responding by saying, “This is the pinnacle of what Humanity could ever hope to find, and it can be our second home as a race. A place without the bickering of Humanities old empires..” He quickly claims the planet for the Ottoman Empire and sends notice to Karababa that they can enter and colonize the system.
September 13th As the Brandenberg approaches the planet it notices that there is a partially intact installation on the surface, they race back to Sol, where Fatih Aras reacts with a calm voice to them, before sending them off to complete shore leave. Privately he curses to himself. Humanity was not alone, and that meant that their infighting was a liability to them.
September 16th The Atmosphere of Mars is now .21 ATMs.
September 24th A new corporation has been established in the Ottoman Empire, it calls itself the Perrault Colony Corporation. Faith Aras meets with its leaders and gives it a sizeable donation.
September 29th Perrault launches its first 3 colony ships into orbit of Earth.
October 7th Perrault launches 3 more colony ships.
October 20th The world jumps in alarm as the Destroyers of the FSNA turn on their active sensors without warning, but breathe a sigh of relief when they begin to move away from Earth and towards the outer system for some unspecified reason, in reality the FSNA had just finished Jump point theory, and as soon as they finished they detected a hostile jump through an unknown jump point and their ships are going to investigate it. On the other side of Earth, the Empire of Japan has also just finished its research into jump point theory.
3rd November Today is a big day for the Ottoman Empire, They’ve finally managed to get the population of the German Reich to except that they are their new rulers. The FSNA battle group reached the jump point, and as they approach it, it opens up and sucks them into it as they approach. As the ships jump they arrive in the system designated as Barnards Star, and as the ships disappear the Ottoman Empire’s command structure begins to panic, because that system holds their burgeoning out of system colony. The Ships transit back and deliver the info that system had a colony in it belonging to the Ottoman Empire. The FSNA Main Council decide to confront the Ottoman Empire about this colony, but only get a cold shoulder about it. In secret the Empire of Japan and the Ottoman Empire hold a meeting where they decide to knock out the battle fleet of the FSNA as soon as possible, because of the instability that the FSNA has shown in Earthly politics.
November 22nd An espionage team from the Ottoman Empire is captured and executed by the FSNA. The Ottoman Empire also launches its first troop transport which picks up 4 construction brigades and begins transporting them to its out of system colony.
29th December Today, the Japanese Cargo Freighters broke with their shipyards, which means that the Empire of Japan is now a true TN power, they also finish research into a troop transport bay. In the Ottoman Empire 4 heavy assault battalions are trained and deployed, along with 2 Assault Battalions.
January 21st 1981 The Ottoman Empire completes its work in a new experimental reactor design. The FSNA begins conjuring plans for the annexation of both the Japanese and the Ottoman Empire.
February 22nd The FSNA completes its work into Composite Armor. It also finishes training 6 new Heavy Assault battalions. The Ottoman Empire finishes training a Mobile Infantry Battalion.
March 15th Earth comes upon its Mercassium Shortage which doesn’t affect the FSNA because of its Venus colony, but it hits the Empire of Japan and its cohort the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire and the Empire of Japan also sign a research treaty with each other. The first Japanese Civilian Corporation launches a ship, a colony ship to be exact. The Japanese finish researching the sorium harvester module.
