...and I was going to create an Access database that would hold 1B systems with up to 17 planets (with up to 17 moons) in a single flat file.
Then, to save disk space, I'll do away with any indexing and just bubble sort it for any info I need.
And here's a link to a catalog with nearly a billion stars. Download isn't supported (200 GB??!!), but you might be able to get access to it by contacting them. Speaking of access, please don't try to put a billion stars into an Access table. It's just not meant for that sort of volume.
