As some of you may have noticed, a number of forums are quite light in the post department. The posts were deleted. :(

Yahoo does not do regular backups of their database servers (which is an incredible wtf), and I've not made any manual backups recently (a wtf on my part). So it seems most of the Aurora forums, not the fiction or Starfire have been drastically culled.

I've disabled the pruning option on the board (though it was only set to automatically prune 1 forum).

And I am looking at another host. Slightly more expensive, but more features and stability. As for the 500 errors the last couple of days, a Yahoo tech monkey did admit others were having the issue also, and it's been kicked up to engineering. I don't know it that is related to what happened.

As a side note, none of the modifications I've made today would be responsible for the posts being deleted. And all the installation files are intact.
