Make sure you are in wide view and then you can easily delete components if you change your mind.

Parden my noobnish its been awhile since I last played aurora, I am playing the new C# version and i want to make a geo survery ship to send out and survey sol.  But when in the ship design i click a part i want to add to the ship and nothing happens,
