Ah, the good old Aurora style of "yes, the functionality is there, but as long as you don't know where to find it...". Muchas gracias :-)

There is no need to change templates.

In Ground Forces - Order of Battle you have list of your ground formations.

For example I have two geosurvey formations. When I select Show Elements button (upper left part) I can see that each has 4 vehicles. I can transfer those vehicles from one formation to the other by dragging vehicles from one formation and dropping them into the other formation.

If you select Amout Popup button (upper left part) before dragging then you can decide how many vehicles to transfer.

??? I can change the templates with "Edit Amounts" - but where can I drag and drop units from one formation to the other?

You can build large replacement formation, with several types of unit. This can be used to replace casaulties. You can transfer individual units from this formation by using Shw ELements and Amount Popup buttons in Ground Forces. Then you simply drag and drop units between formations.

You need to train new formation that has missing elements and then transfer them to the original unit.
So I would have to create a template with only the support units and transfer them to the units which are missing this units?

Units hold supplies for 10 rounds of combat. Unless we are talking fortified units on a world that at least somewhat supports fortifications your troops are likely to be dead or have won before it even matters.

GSP is drawn from the top of the org chart down, so creating a supply unit and attaching it to the top level HQ in a formation will supply all ground units in the chain.

I constructed a formation template and saw, that it would need more resupply units. So I added them in the template. New troops are now created with the supply units, but the old ones stay as before. How can I add the missing supply units to them?
