Maybe we can stay on 1.9.3 for some time and get nice update about Templar expansion through the Sol?  ;D

This is pretty awesome. Also it brought me back to 2004... I actually wrote a 5 page paper on the Knights Templar for my english class. I've always found them interesting.

What sources did you use for the background research this time?

Mainly Wiki research. History of the Knights Templar, organisation of the Catholic Church, articles on monastic and religious military orders, articles on Medieval warfare and even the type of horses used. I also spent a few hours creating a new English Medieval Names name theme using real Medieval knights and noble names, plus filling it out with other medieval names sources. The campaign commander name setup is 50-50 French and English medieval names themes. I'll add some others (Spanish, German, Italian, etc.) if the campaign takes off.

I've ordered a book on the history of the Crusades, so that will likely become a future source of material.
