You can check how much cargo space you need in this table Steve provided:

Ah yes I understand now, you are correct, 10 standard cargo holds can take one Cargo Shuttle Station.

I mean the ground based movable installation that allows you to unload ships. Cargo shuttle station as in the title. Not come across anything else in the game called a shuttle so far, so though that was clear enough.

What do you mean by shuttle? Cargo Shuttle Bay has no effect on capacity only on how fast it loads. Only Cargo Hold affects capacity.

And cargo point is 1 ton of capacity, so standard cargo hold fits 1 whole mine or construction facility (25000 cargo points).

This was all much easier on VB. With the "repeat orders" thing you now get multiples of two only (2, 4, 8, 16 and so on), super tedious.
Thanks for the link (though, who thinks in cargo points anyway, lol), it's only 10 cargo holds for the shuttle. That explains why I managed to move all three of them.

This is why I make 1cargo vessels and regroup them into fleets of a common factor of the amount I want to transport, and repeat the orders a certain number of times (which was easier in VB 6).

Well, that solves the uneven problem at the end I guess. But there's no way to do that from the start then? a cargo shuttle is what like 80 cargo holds for one? That's would mean micromanaging that the whole way. Super tedious and I will forget that before it's done.

When you select the load installation order, an input box labelled "max items" or something similar should appear underneath the list of orders. Type the number of items you want into that box before adding the order.

How can you do this? I tried setting demands, but that doesn't give any new order possibilities. Resorting to moving manually. As I keep forgetting to babysit, it goes over and then under and then over again.

Am I missing an option or a trick or something? If not, how about either a "fulfill demands" order or a way to setting an actual number in move orders? Probably doesn't help either than my cargo hold is like 3.15 units either (trying to get my ships to be the same tonnage in total, primarily cargo spaces and secondarily fuel tanks to even that out).
