Ah, I thought that wouldn't happen if there was no population to work them.

I will admit to never having tested it, so you might be right.

I usually just move them to luna or some other nearby body that doesn't have minerals as a sort of storage. Also sometimes you get lucky and NPR's will attack your storage instead of Earth.

I don't know why you would ever delete things when you can just store them.

Good question, basically 30 research lab are too many, I am often not using 5 of them, however I'm constantly getting the message "5 unused research lab on Earth" (or something) which is boring me.

My god man! Unused research labs? Send them to me!

Turn on SpaceMaster mode on. Go to Economics - Civilian Economy, there is list of installations on left side. Select Research Facility and click SM Edit button.

Stupid question, is it possible to permanently delete installations? I have 30 search lab, I want to destroy 5 of them.
