In the glaxy map, even if you know a system name, finding it in the fog of hundreds of systems, some names almosot identically, is hard.

Please add in a way to search the Galaxy Map and center on a system and a way for the Mineral Survey window to center it on a system too.

Thanks

  Oafs

Added for v2.6.

I think a search function could be nice and would certainly help.

Currently I use a coordinate system whereby I name the system based on the distance from Sector headquarters. The first is a letter of the JP in the sector HQ system, the first number is distance to the last known system with no additional connections and then a second number with the distance to the last fork in the chain. So a system named AA.3.2 would be three systems from the Sector A, JP "A" direction and the second system linked to the third system. Sometimes there is a third number too if there are that many links from the sector system.

This works fairly well as the Galaxy map will be built so the numbers are easily to know where that system are located on the map, that way I know where the system are on the map just based on the name of the system. It also filters the list of system in the dropdown menu to more easily find what you need.
