You need cargo holds on the ship itself, or to have the salvager in a fleet that also contains freighters. I prefer building a salvager with no cargo holds and then combining it with one of my freighter fleets when needed.

Anything you may have salvaged up to now has been jettisoned into space for lack of hold space :(

I got a salvager that have been busy tearing apart ships, I do get information that they found something but when I send them back to Earth there is nothing to drop of/ play with, do i need cargo holds on my ship?? :?
