I guess survival at this point comes down to sending the last hopes of humankind in a colonyship with infrastructure and a factory.

Ahhh! Makes sense.  As to why all these enemy ships are flying between each one.  Maybe they haven't spotted my home planet? The odds of that are pretty low, since it lights up EM's like a christmas tree right?
Sounds like they're doing a grav survey.  If they're hostile, you probably don't want them to grav survey your home system.

Then again, from your previous post... >.>

Uh oh.

I don't know if even SG-1 will save you now.

I have a feeling this will be fun in a manner befitting Dwarf's.

 ;D

Edit:

So. . . uh. . . what's an 'Invader'

. . .

. . .

oh god

It does, but it's possible their grav-survey ships don't have any EM sensors.  It's also possible that they've spotted you but are ignoring you completely.  And finally it's possible that they've spotted you and the invasion fleet is on its way.  Have fun finding out!

It says it all in the title really.  I uh. . . don't really know what those white dots in the system map are.  In Sol they exist in circles around the system numbered from 1-30.  What are they exactly?

Grav-survey locations.  Your grav survey ships go to each one, spend a little time surveying, and maybe find a warp point.  If they're empty they haven't been surveyed yet (by you).  If they're full then they have....

Have Fun!
