CONFIDENTIAL, Senate and Approved Contractors Only

The Ministry of Military affairs, in response to the recent discovery of alien ruins is requesting a design for a troop transport with a capacity of at least 1 brigade to transfer ground units to Mars to assist with the recovery of the ruins there once they are fully mapped. Preferably on civilian engines to reduce operating costs.

In a separate notification, the Ministry would like to push training on new engineer brigades as well as allow officers a leave from normal duties to form a Xenology team, with appropriate bump in pay and citations. [ooc]Basically I think it'd be cool for the officers involved and possibly the commanders of the regiments working on it or ships who discovered it to be given a custom medal reflecting their involvement in this momentous occasion. That may require a Senate resolution though, throwing it out there for discussion anyway.[/ooc]
