Actually, the database password. And, yes, Access.

If I wanted to edit certain things in the DB (access format, right?), I also need this designer password?

Really? Only in DB? Not even SM? You know I would be happy with just the game logs.

Well then, off to get a cloaked ship and search for all those bugs!

If all you want is logs, turn on SM mode, change to SM View on the event viewer, and hit the "To Text File" button.  It dumps a far more detailed log file out into the Aurora directory (or elsewhere), and you can peruse that.  Note:  The text file usually comes out in no discernable order vis-a-vis linear time.

you don't directly access the db. Designer mode is like SM mode but allows you to see all the NPRs including the spoiler races.

You need to be in designer mode. A few of us have the password; however, only Steve will give it out as it is possible to easily accidentally screw your db in designer mode. Steve doesn't want to chase bugs caused in this manner.

My question is simple:

Is there a way that I can actually see why I'm getting over 20 in-game minutes of interruptions because of NPR battles, without screwing up the Database or the game in general?

Also I never really saw a battle, the only thing that I saw related to some kind of destruction, was a 12000 ton wreck in a nebula. I would really like to see a battle between someone, and also this would take out the boredom of all those 5sec Interrupts.
