I tend to run them on most of my ships, I have 5-10 normal launchers and a decent magazine, then something like 50-100 box launchers, this allows for more flexibility I find, I can launch small salvos for the times I need those, and I can do a really huge one for when I need to bust shields or depopulate a planet or something. Or even mid sized ones that can scale as needed to test enemy point defense or something.

The way I use them is put a boatload of them on a fast attack craft (or fighter).  That way you fling more missiles in one go, and then run them back home.  Max damage/space ratio, but one shot only.

They are also not reloadable by the mounting ship itself.  They can only be reloaded inside a Hangar Bay or by colony-based Maintenance Facilities (or Modules).

They are max reduced size launchers.
Alright, thanks :)

So... Erm... What are 'box launchers' exactly? I know they're related to missiles and that's it.
