I believe the issue is fixed. I had some folders mixed up - a location issue.

Thank you.

I dl'd the patch right after I dl'd  5.54. I have not run the game itself yet. I saw 'Higher number patch,' then thought, 'should probably install that,' and did so.

Please could you check the date and filesize of the Aurora.exe file in the installation directory and compare it to the one in the v5.55 patch, just to make absolutely sure you have the correct file?

Just got on winter holiday, so I now have time for fun things. Installed the 5.54, then tried to run the 5.55 patch. Get a the error 91 loop. "Object variable or With block variable not set." My zone is set to U.S,  so the comma deal should not be the issue. Where is my mistake? Thank you.

It must be something specific to your system as a lot of people are running v5.55 and no one else has reported an issue. Did it work before you upgraded or did you patch immediately?

Since the v5.55 patch the ship design screen hasnt been defaulting to my empire, which isnt a problem but the extra clicks are a little annoying. ^^

Wundervoll!
Can we see changelist anywhere?

It is just bug-fixes. if you want to see a list of which bugs are fixed just scan through the last few pages of the official Bugs thread.

Important! This is a bug-fix patch that can only be applied to v5.50 or later

This is a bug-fix patch and will retain your saved games. To apply the patch just unzip the Aurora555.zip file into the installation directory, overwriting Aurora.exe.
