I have an issue where in the first game I ever played under 5. 45 I believe it was, when adding multiple ships of the same class to be built by a shipyard, the game generated nice, unique names for those ships. I believe I used UK empire theme and commander theme. However, starting a second game under that same game version using the same themes, I no longer get the unique names. Instead I get Ark Royal 001, Ark Royal 002 etc for ships built of the same class.
Example, in the first game I had a freighter class called FT Durban. The first ship produced was called Durban. The second was called Dar es Salaam. Don't remember the ones after those two as I built quite a few of them.
The game chose those names. In the games I started after, it's Durban 001 etc.
Copying 5. 45 to another folder and updating it to 5. 60 I get the same problem on the first game I start. I did delete the previous games though as I thought they wouldn't work anyway due to the database updates and changes in the patch.
Tried searching the forums but it seems I can't find a thread with a similar issue.
Any ideas?
