Drones have a set engine MSP amount, are 10x more fuel efficient, and cannot have agility MSP allocated. I've used them for long-ranged recon drones, long-range buoy deployment, and long-range MIRV missiles. They're less effective as missiles themselves since the lack of agility hurts their to-hit chances.

They are much more fuel efficient. A drone of same size & fuel space will go ten times as far.

What are drones meant for? I can't find any difference in their statistics from missiles, except that you cannot change the MSP set to engine power and they get less power per MSP in engine power.
