I seem to have found a post that indicates how leaders develop health problems, and with what probabilities, but what does the health of a commander actually do, other than RP purposes?

A commander with low health is more likely to retire than one with good health.

If health gets low enough, a commander is forced to retire / outright dies. It seems to be weighted to naval / ground officers, but I have had civilian admins die in accidents, for instance
