John,

No , Not as far as I know , only single instance - pop up error still occurs when clicking on the errant vessel , even after a close down and restart. I have the position saved in a 136mb mdb file if Steve ever requires an inspection - although not sure how to send this large a file.

DavidR

PS - to remove error message whenever I click on the vessel I have had to reload a save from the previous month ( game time ) . This does not have the error linked to the vessel ( Yet ). Will now have to play on and trust that whatever action caused the message is not repeated.

Did you accidentally have two instances of Aurora running at the same time?

I have just posted the error shown underneath in the 5.56/5.6 Bugs Thread.

However I have posted the message here in addition in the hope that someone may know the reason for the error and can advise.

Error 3197

Using v5.56 I am receiving the following message which just seems to relate to 1 specific ship :-

Error in Updateshipdetails

Error 3197 was generated by DAO.Field

The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time.

The ship is part of a Task Group on its way to the Homeworld and then to be overhauled and refitted.

However I can find no reason for the error message being displayed.
