Something just went through my head - Mars atmosphere is close enough to a co2 laser mix. Now if we only add a couple of electrodes and the right optical cavity .... No He but the Ar and N are high enough to get a bit of lasing
I dont know. Launching a Mission to enrich and alter the marsian atmosphere to conform with Auroras data seems a bit over the top. I think the high Argon count in interesting, i wonder from where it comes.
