Haha, can't even delete the game, encountering a new error. Oh well.

I usually copy Steve's release DB afresh whenever I'm starting a new game.

I also delete his game after I've made mine....

I was afraid of that. I tried Compacting the Database, in the vain hope that it might magically fix it but ran into this error message:

Error in UpdateGameLog

Error 3420 was generated by DAO.Database
Object invalid or no longer set

So I guess that's that and it's new game for me.

EDIT: Whoopsie, spoke too soon, it went away. Let's see if things work now.

EDIT2: Nope, now it's:

Error in UpdateAllSensors
Error 3167 was generated by DAO.Database
Record is deleted

and

Error in UpdateAllSensors
Error 91 was generated by Aurora
Object variable or With block variable not set

So yeah, delete that one and making a new one. Thanks for the tip about saving, I'll look into it.

It's probably hopeless.

I know it doesn't help now, but you might want to read the FAQ about saving (which was written before the launcher tool came out).

You could post your database file(s?) for someone with DB access to look at, but god only knows if they ever will; Steve seems quite busy.

Hiy, I'm posting this here since it's not a bug. I was playing Aurora 6.21 earlier and my laptop had a blue screen of death while Aurora was processing turns. Now, if I try to advance time, I encounter Error 91 when updating sensors, that there's a value missing in database or something like that. Even keeping Enter pressed down for several minutes doesn't help, it doesn't go away.

So, does anyone know of a workaround or a fix or am I shafted and have to start a new game? Which would really suck since this one was going so well...
