It took me several combats before I figured out there was a thing called 'Fleet Training' and what it does.
A lot of 'huh's were uttered from not only my commanders before that time whenever an order was given :)

I believe it applies here as well. Missile fleet vs the swarm . In a nebula. It didn't go well.

I's new to the game and finally designed and constructed my first warships.  I, however, forgot it needed a reactor like the newb I am.

I can just imagine my engineers 'Uh, Captain, how come we haven't got a reactor for the lasers?'
'Budget cuts, Larry.  Budget cuts'.

Soon after the engine failed and they drifted away, so no harm done.  I guess.
I was wondering if anyone else had a moment like this, when you forget something so simple that you wish your commanders could go 'Oi!'?

Early versions your missile ships didn't come out of the yards with missiles...

"Captain! Enemy in range!" "Fire" click. click. click.
