Yeah - it would be very good to be able to do this.  I had a vague idea it was possible, though I've never done it myself.

no, but you could stop using such orders in weird locations. Just send those auto-builders to a center of relatively safe space and use manual orders near the questionable systems.

Is there a way to ban ships from automatically moving through a particular jump point? My Gate Construction Ships are set to "Build gate on nearest jump point", and seem to be intent on comitting suicide by heading straight through a jump point into spoiler-controlled space and setting up shop merrily building a gate there. . .
