Also, the fleet information page has an 'Equalize Fuel' and an 'Equalize Maint' button, which allow short-term solutions to similar problems - like when your destroyers have 500 days fuel and your cruisers only have 300 and you sent a mixed task force next door to exterminate some spoilers.

Tankers do not need special components other than fuel storages.  Just make sure you tick the checkbox 'Tanker' on its design screen in the top right corner (can be done at any point, so no need rebuilding them).

My question is simple: what component do i need to equip on my tanker so he is able to transfer fuel from one ship to another? i have an stranded fleet in the solar system but i don´t know how to refuel them.
