Wow! Thanks for that tip DIT_grue! That was driving me nuts.  Never would have thought that moving that window to a different monitor would have made that work.  Lol!

Do you have a touchscreen, or dual monitors? There are commonly reported bugs (with workarounds, but that can't be fixed) due to Visual Basic not being able to cope with some things.

Workarounds:
Disable any touchscreen or similar device.
If a window has treeview controls (collapsable/expandable hierarchical lists), don't position it on a secondary monitor that is to the left of or below the primary monitor.

The problem is, I can click all I want, but it doesn't switch.  I have even reinstalled the game.  Is this a bug then??

You should be able to do so simply by clicking the colony name where it is displayed along the left side of the window. You may need to expand some lists to see it, depending on whether the colony is in a different system, etc.
