The CFN was actually one of the things I didn't like about 3rdR because it was so uurealistically powerful. However I do intend to have "civillian ships" at some point, which will include civilian colony ships that send population to your colonies and setup some of their own.

Starfire has the concept of a "Colonial Freight Network", which was private enterprise which the Imperial Government could hire to assist in colonization, or moving freight or around, etc.

Since it's probably a trademarked or copyrighted term, I'll rename it to the "Civilian Freight Network".  I'd really be happy if Aurora could have a CFN that my government could use.  I've already noticed that private enterprise is happy to build civilian spaceports - I'd be quite happy to turn over shipping of colonists to them.

Any chance of seeing this in future versions of Aurora?
