In general LP are automatically visible when they are naturally formed, no need to discover them.

The only time that LP become visible after system discovery/generation is when you artificially create an LP, needing a vessel with stabilization gear to do so.

There is only 1 LP in this system, you need to have two to fly between them.

I'm not sure but I think the game is acting strange with numbers, it seems I have a super fast production. How I have to set the decimal separator to make it work correctly? Thanks

Ah, yes. I just changed this afternoon! I thought I had to... must be a comma? Thought the oppsite..
I was getting mad with numbers, in another save file I had crazy fast production and research, didn't understood why!

Hello, I'm trying to play with a conventional start. I was away for few years now the game mechanincs may have changed a bit.
I don't understand why the start is so slow, I have Manufacture efficient modifier at 1%, it seems research and everything will take ages. Any advise? Is a problem how to setup the game?

How does the auto assignment of fleet commanders work?

I have a fleet to which I would like to automatically assign a fleet commander using a flag bridge.
CO of the ship with the flag bridge is a captain (R5), the position of fleet commander in the commanders window requires an admiral (R4).
The naval organization window shows that another captain is nominally assigned as fleet commander who is also CO of another ship in the fleet, similar to fleets without a flag bridge.
I was under the impression that the flag officer minimum rank was CO +1, because the commander window shows me that an admiral (R4) is required.
I have enough free admirals which are unassigned. I can appoint a fleet commander manually without any problems, but they are often promoted as soon as a higher position becomes vacant.
After that, the position of fleet commander is filled again by a ship captain of the fleet.
For all other positions, the automatic assignment works without any problems (Chief Engineer, Science Officer etc.).

Is it possible that the automatic assignment of fleet commanders for fleets which don't have a flag bridge interferes here?
Meaning no admiral is assigned because technically, the fleet already has a fleet commander which just happens to be too low in rank for the actual requirement?

Do I have to do something differently or is not possible to have a fleet commander of a higher rank than the ship COs assigned automatically?
