Alien defensive systems?

So, my current campaign is becoming more interesting than most.

I recently started surveys outside my home system and found on my artifacts tab, under known anomalies, the following listing:

Defensive Systems 100%: Luhman 16-B-II

What's that all about? Doesn't seem like anything has been shooting at my survey ships. I've also not spotted any NPRs anywhere.

It means that if you form a colony and shift some research labs to Luhman 16-B-II, you'll get a 100% boost to its Defensive Systems research.
