For some reason, I can't add or remove crew quarters from a design.  Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known bug?

If you want to have some extra crew quarters on your ship (for example a carrier needs some), you need to check the Keep Excess Q box on Class Design Window.

You can only remove crew quarters that are surplus, you cannot get below required minimum that is needed to accommodate crew.

I assume not, since I can add and remove everything else I've tried.

Ah, does it automatically handle minimum crew quarters now? I was following one of the tutorials.  That's cool.  Thanks!

If you have version 6.2 or 6.3 them crew quarters are handled automatically. I dont have experience with earlier versions of Aurora, so I dont know if you have to add them manualy in those.
