Hordes of robotic defenders? More like hordes of snacks. If I do decide to keep the ruins, I am going to SM in a metric ton of ground forces to simulate the swarms of warriors everywhere.

The only question now is how big should I let the ruins be? At the moment, its a ruined city which seems a little big to hide. Ruined outpost maybe?

You could always RP the runs in as a long lost Wrix civilization. The Wrix equivalent of finding Atlantis or something.
