Um?? Sort of.
Assult carrier transits, next turn can land fighters and transit back provided fighters were loitering at the WP. Turn after transit the fighters can launch. you may need to rule that an additional turn is required to set fighters for launch since this scenario is not covered in the rules. The rules assume that your going to always spend the 5 turns for re-arming.
You'll need to account for the loitering endurance since they would not have been able to replenish expendables. It would be a way to get a bases fighters into battle on the farside of a WP.
It's something I've considered in the past with escort carriers. Jump in, launch fighters, jump to "home" system, land fighters, jump in, launch fresh fighters and land expended fighters... It assumes of course the carriers survive too keep jumping back and forth to use the "bases" on the safe side for rearming an the escort carriers are nothing but battle taxi's.
