Precursors missles
« on: May 17, 2020, 12:52:41 PM »
Hi guys, I've conquered a precursor base, where there were stocked more than 19000 missles. I would like to use those missles with my cruisers, but I cannot load them nor I can see size and specifics of them. How can I solve it?

Astradaemon Anti ship missle 2103
Cacaodaemon AMM 17292

You need either an ordnance transfer station or spaceport to load ordnance. Also you'll need a collier to load the missiles for transfering. Does that planet have these?

The planet has an ordnance tramsfer station, my ships are orbiting the planet, however when I choose the command "load ordnance from colony" it does not neither allow me to choose the type of missles to load nor it loads any random missles at all.

I don't think I need a collier to load the missles on and then transfer them to the warships. The ordnance transfer station should be enough to transfer them.

This is how I only managed to load ordnance. You need a ship with magazine system and checked as collier. Then you set it's desired load from its ordnance tab. Then when you command that ship to load ordnance from colony, it loads what you set in its class design or individual ship ordnance tab if present. You don't get to choose what ordnance you'll load from the command menu.

Edit: Also sometimes ship says orders completed but you should check if the actual transfer is completed or not. Loading and unloading things take time.

Ok I understand which part are you taking about, ordnance Template from the ship screen.

However my waship is designed as collier and it has a magazine system, but from the menu' where you can set which missles to load, I can actually see my only design, not the one from the precursor.

ECCM-1 (1)         Missile to hit chances are vs targets moving at 3000 km/s, 5000 km/s and 10,000 km/s

This design is classed as a Military Vessel for maintenance purposes

Also, I tried to change the missles from the ship design window, but I can only choose my designed missles only.
The only reason I can think is that those precursors missles are bigger then my Launchers, but I cannot see the specifics anywhere.

It can either be a bug or there is a misc tab on design which has a checkbox use alien tech. But some people were saying something like there is a bug which blocks alien components from installing to your ships.

Appearently you did everything right.

I'll try to post it on bug topic, thank you.

I am quite sure the Alien Missiles are not possible to be used currently as the feature has not been implemented yet.

There is a way but implies to modify the DB.
